Founded in 1979 by Gerry and Bev Selden, G & B Pool Supplies, Inc. was built from a small one-room shop partitioned from their garage to a reputable pool sales and service company with a gift shop.

The store is now located in the city of Portland, Michigan on Grand River Avenue across from the police station. The business recently underwent a change in ownership. The store's new owners are Scott Teachout and Joel Vanslambrouck.
